Access prior knowledge of Unit 1 Part 3 vocab words by taking the pretest
Learn what dictionary guide words are, where they appear in a dictionary & practice using them.
Respond to literal and inferential questions
Procedure:
Bellwork: ___
U1P3 Pre-test--grade together or collect to grade.
Students who earn 100% on pretest can choose alternate W.W. assignment in place of workbook pages. Still due Thursday.
Read page 18 together, complete page 19
Start “Use Guide Words” together on page 20—complete pages 20-21independently due Wednesday
In groups of 2-3, complete
Study Guide
in preparation for tomorrow’s quiz.
HW:
Study for Story Elements Quiz tomorrow.
Finish WW pages 19-21 due Wednesday.
WW Pgs 22-23 due Thursday.
